Born in India and raised in New York City since the age of two, Arti has always been immersed in that fast-paced and hectic lifestyle associated with any large city. Although she believes beauty can be found anywhere one chooses to look, her heart is ever drawn to the wild and isolated places of the Earth. She knows that life is short and fleeting, making that elusive present moment that much more precious. Through her photography, she hopes to convey those feelings of oneness and gratitude which can often come from being in the here and now: often in the midst of nowhere, yet somehow, part of everywhere.
